We had previously looked at a listing that Tenley was showing. When we decided to build instead, we had been so impressed with her as a person and broker that we decided to work with her. We had an instant rapport and she was excellent at treating us like partners. Tenley was virtually available to us around the clock for months- she was incredibly patient and respectful. She handled our emotional ups and downs like a professional. It was not easy selling our less than 2 year old house in an area with a glut of new builds- we used every bit of the knowledge and skill Tenley brought to the table and she helped us deal with a longer than expected listing and price lowering that was necessary to seal the deal. We insisted on an initial price that was too high to try to recoup our investment and because we knew we had time during the building process. Thus it took longer to sell but Tenley helped us get the most we could and do so in a timetable that actually worked out quite well in the end. I think when you sign on with a broker you expect them to do their job well - to negotiate well, to be knowledgeable about all aspects of the process etc and of course Tenley was all of those. But what you don’t always get is a genuinely good, kind, respectful person that you’re proud to have represent you and be your ally for months if need be. That’s where we feel so lucky to have worked with Tenley Cramer and we would do so again.
